Girl Undercover fugutive

Hello avid readers of the internet, I'm here with another review. Today I am reviewing Girl Undercover fugutive by Christine Harris,
It is the second book in the Undercover girl series which follows on from the first book secrets which I reviewed click here

As I mentioned it follows on from the first book called Secrets, It is about a orphaned child prodigy named Jesse Sharpe she's twelve and works for a secret goverment orginization known as C2, we see her and partner and fellow spy Leon solve missions and fight crime...
When Jesse is not fighting crime she is being experimented on by scientists for a unknown project set up by C2,  Jesse is also determined to find out about what happened to her C2 "Brother" Rohan and about her life before C2 "Adopted" her with the help of Director Grange's  personal assistant Prov!

 The characters are:
Jesse Sharpe- 12 year old spy and child prodigy working for C2
Jai- Jesse's other C2 "Brother" who is also a child prodigy
Leon- Jesse's  partner (not a child or a prodigy)
Director Grange- The head of the secret orginization called C2
Prov (Provinda)- Grangers PA and helping Jesse find out about her past
Rohan- Jesse  and Jai's C2 "Brother" who has gone missing pressumed dead
Mary (I think that was her name I'll check when I go home)- Jesse Rohan and Jai's nanny

I found this book very interesting as it always keeps you guessing on what happens next and it really makes you feel sorry for Jesse as she doesn't know anything about her family or about what happened to her C2 brother Rohan and why he's gone missing.

But I think the book needs to go more into detail about Jesse's surrounding's as it doesn't lead to the imagination, or how the character is feeling as you don't get a sense of anger or happiness for any of the characters while reading the book.... But overall the book has a very good storyline that makes you want to read more.

I don't really have a favourite character yet as I think I need to finish the whole series to make a judgement.

you can buy the book here and here. Until the next time continue reading bye!

The Haunted by Jessica Verday

Hey avid readers of the internet, today I am reviewing a book called: The Haunted by Jessica Verday.
UK book cover

The book continues on from the first book in the trilogy, (The Hollow) which I reviewed, here. Abbey (Abigail) has had a mental breakdown, she is now living with her aunt Marjorie and learning to cope with the breakdown.
She soon gets called back to the town of "Sleepy Hollow"... She soon learns to live with Caspians' mysterious secret! As she throws herself into school work, Perfume making and working at her dad's ice cream store, She learns about Caspians' past and her- Destiny!

The main characters in the story are:
Abigail- kristens' best friend and Caspian's girlfriend
Caspian- Abigail's boyfriend
Nikolas- Groundskeeper at the cemetery, and Abigail's friend and Katie's husband
Katie- Nikolas's wife and Abigail's friend
Ben- Abigail's friend

I liked this book as its not just a romance story, it has a element of  the supernatural actually that is one of the big elements that makes the story and that factor makes the story more compelling.I like the fact that Caspian's and Abigail's relationship has overcome this big challenge making the love between the two characters more dynamic.

I'm delighted at the fact Abigail is still friends with Katie and Nikolas, they are such Jovial (cheerful)
characters and can make you smile and laugh while your reading this intriguing tale, I am hoping they don't die.

I can't wait to read the next book The Hidden, I want to know what will happen next, I need to as one of the characters May DIE
and I need to find out who will die.  you can buy the book here or here

As usual it was a pleasure blogging for you until the next post have a great day! bye

The Hunger games: Mockingjay

Hello avid readers of the internet, Today I am reviewing The hunger games: Mockingjay by Suzanne Collins
Mockingjay cover (2012)
In the final book in the world of Panem we follow Katniss Everdeen who has come straight from the arena into- District 13! She has become a symbol of hope and rebellion "The Mockingjay" we see her struggle to come to terms with the torturing of fellow tribute Peeta Mellark and the death of a family member (this comes near the end of the book)
we see her film propaganda (Propos) to keep the revolution alive,
before I start the review here's a list of the characters
                                      Katniss Everdeen
                                      Peeta Mellark
                                      Gale Hawthorn
                                      Prim (Primrose) Everdeen
                                      Finnick Odair
                                    Annie Cresta (Odair)
                                    Johanna Mason
                                                                              President Alma coin
                                                                              Haymitch Abernathy
                                                                              Plutarch heavensbee
                                                                             Effie Trinket
                                                                             Commander Paylor

Mockingjay symbols
                        President snow

                   Commander Boggs
                   Octavia
                   Flavius
                  Venia
                  Pollux
                  Cressida

What I like about the book is the fact we see a more vulnerable side to Katniss and I also like that Prim grew a more gutsy attitude within the book.
I love the fact we get to see more of katniss's and Prim's relationship which shows that more lovelier side to Katniss,

finnick flirting wirh katniss
in the training center
catching fire movie
I also like the fact that Finnick isn't as egotistical and arrogant as we all thought in Catching Fire, he actually has a sweet, caring and a fantastic sense of humour. (YES FINNICK IS MY FAVOURITE CHARACTER BECAUSE OF THIS) I also like the fact his love interest is Annie as his love for her really shows as when she is kidnapped by the capitol he goes crazy, (Yes Finnie or Annick  is my One-True-Pairing) I really love the fact him and Katniss are friends because he is so sweet and funny and brings a great comedy to the book and is a joyful heart warming character;

I'm glad it took Katniss ages to choose between Peeta and Gale because the revolution was more important than who she likes more in fact I think it made her more patient more feisty more knowledgeable of who she really loved.
(I'm team Peeta and Finnick)

It was a pleasure writing this book review for you I really enjoyed it you can buy the book here or here  until the next post have a great time
